Suggestion box

Hi Friends,

this is the first forum i ever made. I have my own reasons to do this. So i have only less experiences to create and moderate a forum, but i will do my very best. One problem may be that i am a german collector who speaks the german language and i try to offer my forum in english. My English i learned 25 years ago in the school. A thousand pardons that my english is not the best.

If you have wishes or corrections, maybe to add a new category please e-mail me.

My wish is it to make a forum for all animal figur collectors all over the world.

The only suggestion I could make would be to add a catagory or two, for instance I do dioramas, so I don't collect by brand or for a complete series, also I like the idea of a custom animal forum, as Ana is going to be making me animals and there are others who are starting their own custom animal sculptures, so maybe you could add those forums to the list.

Just some suggestions as to my personal reasons for collecting.

Hello i agree with Phil,
The forum looks great, and it can only get better, i do think that two new addtions would be needed:

A category about custom animals
A category about Dioramas in General

those two will bring a lot of members with other interests, especially the dioramas of all scales and areas (military/city/wildlife/zoo) you name it, a lot of us collect animal figures with dioramas in mind.

I do find all of the collections fascinating as I am an animal fenatic, but what I collect would be better posted in the new forums, thanks for the consideration.

One thing though, I think I sent a message, I don't read (or speak for that matter) German, so I get emails from you but have no idea as to what you are telling me, if possible could you write to me personally in English, here on the web page I have a translation program so everything comes to my computer in English, but personal notes need to be in English or I wont know the content of the message.

Hi guys.
I spoke to Torben yesterday-evening, and he said it would be easy to make new categories, without even reading this.
So i guess, he will be making them today for us.
And to change the messages you get in English, will be just a minor adjustment too i think.
When one of you guys has problems with the German, you can always ask me to translate it for you.

hi i see the trade and for sale sections but if i wanted to post a wanted list of animals i am after do i put it in the trade section or the for sale section? or is there going to be a seperate section coming where you can specifically put what you are looking for

Well, thanks to this forum, I've already learned several new German words! I expect to learn quite a few more. Maybe in a decade or so, I'll be able to post in German...

Well, that wouldn't be neccesary anyway, because we agreed to post in English here.
It is your free choice to do it in more languages, if you feel like it.
And it is always good to learn more about other languages, so that is good for you!

Is it possible to make polls in this forum?
I don't mean such possibility for any member, cause than we'll have too many strange polls like in LG. I mean, could we offer (or order?) the admin to make polls on the most interesting topics?

I don't know if it's just my end, but the Emoticons and other tabs are going a bit strange, some are half missing, blurry or have lines through them. Is anyone else having this problem and can it be fixed?

One wish: Identification section

As I am not so experienced collector I often need the help to identify some weird mysterious unknown one. Probably I am not the only one with similar questions. Now, when some changes on STS appear, it would be nice if such threads are easy to find in one specialized section...
