Very nice impressions (Gdansk-Oliwa-Miejski Ogrod Zoologiczny Wybrzeza Gdansk???), Anja!!! I also love zoos and animal parks, another hobby of myself :) . I am also very happy to see here pictures of zoos. Very Happy

The monkey would have to be a Javan Langur (Trachypithecus auratus auratus), there are them in two colour variations, black and orange.

Awesome photos Ana. It is hard to get a good picture of animals in the zoos close to me. It takes me about 3 1/2 hours to get to the closest zoo. Usually the fence is in the picture, or the animals are too far for you to take a good picture unless you have a really good camera with a really good zoom, which I don't. You captured the animals beautifully. It is good to go with kids and see what they love.

@Ana: Unfortunately, I was not yet in the zoo. But as a zoo fan helps this side:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The monkey species was then I knew, and my guess is the only zoo in Poland, which holds that species. Wink

Yes, a big tele-zoom lens is from big advantage and then they are quite close, here sometimes to the comparison(Examples):

Siberian Tiger in the zoo of Leipzig with 70 mms of focal length...

...and with 300 mms of focal length with the possibly same distance takes a photo.

Black-white Vari in the animal park of Berlin 70mm...

...200mm.
