Mojo lion: the best lion figurine at the market?

Willy, some Angolan lions are almost blond even when old and tsavo lions have no mane! :)

Roger is right, lions can have blonde manes all their life. Those lions with black manes have more testoserone resulting in the lion having more aggression and the colour of the mane. But like I have heard a lot before, real animals can get away with alot more than what figures can get away with. But lions are my favorite animal so any lion on the market I will gladly get.

They are the best because they have a wonderful mane, a lot of personnality, fantastic teeth  and they are Belgian        

Seriously, looking at the past... Nearly all the new lions are at least decent models.    

I agree all have flaws and all are lions. And we are more and more hard to please, which is a good thing for the brand who listen to us  

So... Here is the new non-official Mojo lion for 2013   ...   ... ...   ... Full of flaws... as usual

Personally, still prefer the style of the Papo King of Jungle lion. As pinted out by others, I don't like the elongated muzzle and lack of under jaw/chin of the Mojo lion. Kikimalou's new and improved Mojo lion redo looks 1000% better!

"Mastiff?": yes and no.
Mastiff muzzle is square, but relatively short. If you look at Mr Mojo Lion's muzzle alone, it does look rather Mastiff-ish, as his lips relative to the muzzle resemble a Mastiff's.
A Mastiff's muzzle should be 1/2 the length of its head and half the breadth of its skull and it should look square from all angles.
(A Bullmastiff has a shorter muzzle, and the head and muzzle are rounder.
When people ask me how to tell the difference, i tell them: if it's a blockhead, it's probably a Mastiff; if it looks like a bowling ball, it's probably a Bullie.)

I do like the Mojo lion but i wish they could go back and fix him, as the Kiki lion is perfect!

The chin only makes so much difference on this lion, and makes it the best in modern lions right now!
Although i can't discover what you did on the manes.
Talking about them, i know about some lions that keep their light coloured manes, and these 2 lions of Tsavo that killed and eat hundreds of people had some genetic problems i read somewhere...
But there are more places where male lions don't have huge or dark manes, but i think we want a good representative of an average adult male lion....

So which means we might expecting a revise version of Mojo Lion

That wouldn't be bad, as there are only minor changes to be made.

That's the reason I think he is good. He needs only minor changes while some of the other lions need a new sculpting! The difference is that some flaws are much more visible than others! :) I'm afraid that it is not so easy to introduce these little changes. It would be surely necessary to make a new mould and only save time and money making a similar sculpting! :)

It would only take some adjustment on the mold, it is not neccesary to make a new one...

100%! That's why I dare to call this lion the best one at the market, as the other lions have more flaws in my eyes.

Personaly for me... Papo´s lion is the best, second is by CollectA and Schleich a Mojo are sharing no.3 :)
