So would they then go under the "newer" section, 1998 isn't that long ago. Is that company still around?

They say Made in West Germany on most of them. The rabbit is unmarked and the little dog laying down says Old Quaker 20 Schenley's and the little lamb is unmarked and made of very hard plastic

I often see these on German auctions, and have tried to bid, but the price always gets too high for me Crying or Very sad
Andreas it right, these kinds of models are usually called " Margerine models", - the first time I saw that, I thought : WHAT Shocked Yough ! geek Laughing Laughing

Is the model made of plastic or similar as you said?
Is it hollow, or solid? Rolling Eyes

PostSubject: Please, what have I bought there ? Who knows the brand ?   Brand Identification topic - Page 7 EmptyWed Mar 07, 2012 4:02 pm

Today a parcel has arrived from ebay with very small animals. bounce The animals looks similar to Schleich Classic / Safari Toobs. The size is 2-4cm.
But no brand, no "Made in China". Who knows these animals ? Perhaps Safari ? study study

The first two pictures shows the size. The chicken from Schleich is also helping.

PostSubject: Old and new dogs - does anyone know them?   Brand Identification topic - Page 7 EmptySun Apr 01, 2012 1:15 pm

Here is a big lot of dogs I haven't recognized yet. Does anyone know anything about them?

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Poodle and spaniel. These two are hard plastic. I think they are made in late 1980s. Not any markings.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Springer Spaniel, Setter, St. Bernad, Swedish Vallhund (I think it shoud be corgi but looks more like Vallhund cyclops )
Weird orange coloured small dogs, not marked.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Small hard plastic dogs, China.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Small rubber dogs from 2000s. They says their breed and China.

And finally some various doggies, mainly from 2000s. They says nothing on them.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Is the bulldog old Lundby's?

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Is this Border Collie from New-Ray?

They are LOVELY Very Happy

The orange dogs remind me of something, - I have a fox and a wolf from the same material, i think. But I just CAN´T remember the name of the brand Embarassed

Some of the dogs " Small hard plastic dogs, China" are very much in the style of Funrise, - could they be a Funrise tube ? scratch

Sorry to be of so little help, - and thankyou for the pictures ! flower
I love to see such unusual models, - and especially when it is dogs Wink
