However, it is recomendable that everyone replaces their links from blogs, websites, browser favorites, mobile phones links, etc. to the new URL

Thanks for your comprehension! cheers

I approve of the change, it makes sense! I'll update the link on the ATF immediately :)

Quick reply was activated on forum. It is the edit area you can see at the end of any topic. The traditional ways of posting are the same, it only prevents that we need to browse to a new page to start a comment. It is very nice for me once I use mobile phone often and page loading is not as quick as in computers. I hope it is also good for all other members. Very Happy

I see a new line for the messages and now it is a little circular with the emoticons scratch Is there a chance that we can recycle this on the left corner plrease scratch

Is there any way to get the formatting, hyperlink and image codes etc. to show again in messages that are being composed? Their absence makes editing and copying to and from outside sites (for backup in own email, for instance - talking sales lists here, mostly) quite cumbersome.

Andreas, :shock:Do you mean the quick reply on bottom of topics? You can ignore it and use exactly as you did before using the reply topic button on top.
Lea, you have a button called "switch editor mode", try to click it, maybe you have the wanted result. Very Happy

Yes, seems to work now - thank you for that! Don't know how I missed that button - I thought I tried them all in a wild scramble for code-viewing rights suddenly revoked. All's well now, as far as I'm concerned. Thanks!

Andreas, I haven't noticed that we have a new editor, I always use the quick reply and the normal editor turned obsolete to me. Sleep
I checked on Admin panel and they are informing that this is a new editor still in Beta version. I understand that is harder to use smileys, maybe I'll suggest to put it back or try to find a way to reintroduce it. I don't have a single option on forum configurations to change it.
Lea, I am glad you've found it. Before the new version, it was managed by admins the default edition modealthough, the switch button already existed.  flower

I've just noticed that the "insert image" function no longer allows for images to be uploaded from a PC directly into a message.  This is a really annoying development.

Please advise...

I can only insert a URL, not a "hosted" file. I really would prefer not to have to utilize a webhosting service for photos.

You can add an image directly from your computer when you are using the "Host an image" button Phil.
