My first giraffe! And other Britains figures

MartinH must be really proud of me now that I finally have a giraffe in my collection







I like these three a lot!

The next one is actually my first one. An accidential flea market find that I didn't even like at first. I had buried him somewhere with my figures for trade and forgotten about. But now that I received those three, I think I like the tiger a bit more too.

Second version giraffe calf Number 1349 issued 1971 deleted 1998



Eagle Number 1388 issued 1971 deleted 1998



Second version walrus Number 1328 issued 1975 deleted 1998

I like these three a lot!

First version tiger walking Number 1345 issued 1960 deleted 1972. Originates from lead version issued in 1931 and deleted in 1959.

I planned to give you the information, but saw between the reading that Chris did that perfectly already.
Only left to tell, that there was a real first version of the giraffecalf under that number to, although running.
He ment the second version of this model like you have, which was issued before with less spots, and differently painted.

One of my favourite animal figures due to the animated stance. I remember having this giraffe calf running when I was a boy. Alas all my childhood zoo animal collection was given away in my late teen years.

Same for me here Chris, my parents were almost given away my old Britains and Hausser Elastolins when i was out of the house for a long time.
Happily i was just on time to save them for the fleamarket!
But my Corgi's were gone already...
