The darker mold is the Tennessee walker stallion, and the other one is the Hanoverian stallion. At front is the akhal teke, new in 2011, I can´t wait to buy it :)

did you see? on MPV , before volverine( at schleich 2011) appear another king pinguin with a new code. what do you say about that? it is the pinguin from2010?

That´s the new emperor penguin from 2011. MPV use always their own codes.

hey guys

i just visited the SCHLEICH homepage and recognized a changing in the description of the King Penguin:
"Further Information: Modification 2011"

then i went to modellpferdeversand.de and saw the new model for 2011. it is the same model as before but with a different painting: its beak has a red stripe instead of an orange one and the pattern around its neck is different, too. so this is the reason for SCHLEICH's retiring of the "old" 2010 figure!

when looking at pictures of both, i would say i like the 2010-model better. good that i've just bought a second one of the 2010 penguin. :) what would you say?

I was just about to post the same thing! I like the 2010 penguin better myself.

I want to keep with the 2010 penguin. It's more realistic. This is only my opinion

The 2010 pengu looks like a real one!Why did they retire it?

That's a long story! Schleich is a real penguin disaster, the brand is always making confusion between King penguins and Emperor penguins, both are from the same genus but are different species, the 2010 was the first Schleich penguin similar to a real king, but there was to problems, children love emperors because they are more close to what they think that what is a penguin, and the other problem is that the chics are emperors!
The old penguin was selling nicely and the new one not, another reason!Remember that in Happy Feet most part of the penguins were Emperors!
First children, ten collectors!
First beautiful animals, then accurate animals!
This is the same error than Schleich think that jaguars and tigers are the same animal, or to have a lion with a leopard painting!

The new one is an Emperors!
