| Roger just sent me the Wood Duck and I must say it is beautiful! I really hope to be able to add more of this brand to my collection. Thank you, Roger. -Kristie |

| MPV is crouded with lots of known brands. Maybe they think that there is no interest in these kind of lines like Maia & Borges, so I think the best we can do is to show them that we are interested in these figures. Maybe e-mailing them asking for M&B figures. I know the brand will keep developing more animal series, even more exciting that this one, but I suppose it will depend how well accepted is this line. I absolutely love them and although I didn't need the mallard and swan, this was one of the series I wanted complete. Fantastic manufacturing quality, very interesting set of unusual species, lovely figures, very recomendable. In painting they are even a lesson to some of the best known brands. |

I agree, Roger, that Maia y Borges is a terrific brand. It is much better known, I believe, among collectors of plastic cartoon characters. However, I think M + B is now going to make a big move into the animal figurine market, and I think this makes perfect sense... :) |

| I really love those waterfowl, but I'm worried they don't come in my size range. I prefer 2-4 inch plastic animals, so any help would be great. The biggest waterfowl I own is the Schliech swan. |

| Emma, unfortunately comparison pictures that Yvett posted in M&B birds topic got lost. Those figures are not very big although they are larger than toob like figures. They fit nicely with ducks from major brands and none of them is larger than a Schleich swan. I recomend them without any doubt, their only minus is that they're not cheap at all. :) |

Do you think it would be around the same size as the Schliech mallard (hen or drake)? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Thanks! |

Thanks! Schleich is smaller as far as I can remember. Please chekc below a size comparison with a S&N kiwi. The S&N bird is around 2 inches tall while duck is around 2-1/4 inches tall and 2-1/2 inches long. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Great, be careful because they love fish. As everything is now clear for you, I'll merge this topic with the main thread about M&B waterfowls. |
