Ken, the only giant in this picture is the Schleich warthog, don't you think?

In this pic some real warthogs and a greater kudu, warthogs are very closer, maybe Schleich is a dwarf Kudu

Wow, i get confused by all of this news for the coming year!
Sooo much great new models, it doesn't matter to me in which scale, i will collect them all eventually!
But i can't keep up this way, and i need a bigger wallet too as it seems...
I am not even straight with my 2010 models for Schleich, not even talking about the other brands...
And now i see so much great new models!
Maybe i should quit collecting farm-life models...

I never buy Bacardi, it is far too expensive!
I always buy own brands, and then the brown rum, that is much sweeter in taste, and much cheaper too, 1 LT 12 euro...
But yes Christophe..., Ronald is very cruell to me...
But ok, i could quit drinking rum, stop smoking, stop eating, and stop collecting..., uuuhhh, oh no, that last one i won't...

O.K., when it comes to scale, here's what I think. If using the Papo big cats(Lions, tigers, jags, & cheetah), when displayed next to each other they look pretty much proportional.
However, when putting the Papo black rhino next to them, the rhino's a little small as with the Papo meerkats are to big.
So if you want to do a zoo or savannah display, they just don't look good in the same setting/display together. I wish their was just a universal scale for all toy figure lines!

I think this year is very clear in terms of brands' strategy!
We have CollectA very strong in horses! Making realistic horses against the Schleich fairy horses! Papo doesn't looks very interested in this battle!
CollectA is developing a huge range of prehistoric animals, very complementar with Safari, both in museum quality! Papo is continuing with jurassic dinos and Schleich is dead!
Papo looks very strong in wild life and Schleich with farm, even without pigs and goats!
But Schleich will keep the king unless among princesses! :)

i got my schleich 2011 horses. i dident care for the safari. nothing from bullyland. most definly getting some collectas as soon as ther come out. i dident care for any of the papo horses but i love the horse grooms!
