Papo Items for 2011 with pics

With the melanistic phase, the rosettes are more visible on how the light(sun),
is hitting the cat. So for the figures, I'll take a black painted figure("melanistic") of either a jaguar or a leopard (I don't care if I don't see the rosettes).

As far as the Papo jag, it's definitely a smaller female. One of the reasons, being the size differences, male and female jags are sexually dimorphic.

It will be a spotted version, I guess, black jaguars are very hard to paint, in this melanistic variation of black panthers spots are visible! Not spotless like leopards!
And surely the same sculpting. Like Papo did with the White tiger and white lions!
I'm not a fan of melanistic variations nor of Papo jaguar, a very beautiful big cat but morphologically wrong! I use the Schleich jaguar even it is sculptless and not so impressive!

I do have the new lemur, and I'll post pictures as soon as I can. I just found it a few weeks ago. I don't even think it's mentioned on the Safari website. I found it at a Michael's Arts & Crafts store, of all places! But I'll try to get a picture of it in the next few days. It is world's better than the one previously released.

Excellent, a must-have mandrill for me :-)

All the animals are on my list except for maybe the Mandrill.

I really like the look of the Percheron mare.
That's one thing I do like about Papo, quite a few of the horses are not just standing.
They may not be 100% correct but at least they are willing to try :)

I will definatly be buying the mandrill, chamois and platypus. :)

Wow! I love the elephant. I can't believe they just repainted the jaguar mandrill, chamois and yak look gorgeous!!
I'm glad the baby elephant is detachable. But they are still too small, shame I was hoping they'd be in scale.

awesome, I love the Mandrill, the Yak is very starkly Camel progress
Elephants are especially nice as their installation.
Other wildlife have fared as air, a little disappointed just repainted black jaguar. 0 see on store shelves and in our hands!

Like the mandrill very much(hopefully a little smaller than #50012 Papo chimp/with baby on back). I like Asian elephant pose, however only male Asian elephants get external tusks! I wonder how tall and long the elephant is? Preferred a new jag instead of repaint, since I already painted that Papo jag black 2 years ago.
Bactrian camel and llama seem nice.

Says the elephant is 10cm high - 17cm long. So unfortunately it's too small
