| PV figures are often not very realistic but PV produced some rare species, so some weeks ago I decided to buy this set of PV Predators: Really incomparable in quality with Britains or Jeols but I like these PVs too |

Really incomparable in quality with Britains or Jeols but I like these PVs too I know these large sets from National Geographic. I have the Reptiles and Coral Reef sets in the original box. Where do you found this? |

| @Sommo: This set was offered as BIN one on E-Bay - but not overpriced. The price was nearly the same as somebody was willing to pay for Torbens PV tapir |

I don't know who you're talking about [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]However, I think the seller is the same as where I bought the Reptiles and Coral Reef sets [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Regarding the POISON DART FROGS set: - the one labeled "Dyeing Poison Frog" that is blue with yellow spots is actually Boulenger's Asian Tree Toad (Pedostibes hosii)[img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img] - the Ecuadorian Poison Frog is now classified ( Ameerega(= Dendrobates) bilinguis). The figure is correctly representing what it is labeled to represent. - the figure labeled " Atelopus varius" is, in my opinion, close enough to the real animal to call it acurate: [img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img] if you google "Atelopus varius" or "Harlequin Toad", a plethora of pix turns up, many are even closer to the figure than this pic. [img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img] Granted, the figure doesn't have webbed feet, but I attribute this to oversight rather than misrepresentation. - Lehmann's Poison Dart Frog is now classified Oophaga histrionica lehmanni. The figure is accurate to the species. - Red-eyed Tree Frog figure is accurate - Strawberry Poison Frog figure is accurate - figure labeled "Harlequin Poison Frog" is actually Dyeing Poison Frog ( Dendrobates tinctorius). I don't have the figure with me now, but I think it matches this picture: [img] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][/img] Hope this helps :) |

| that' so awesome getting all those pictures, thank you so much for sharing Fantastic work too about rearranging the sets and clearing more scientific names! I will add the new information soon (will be back on my own computer next week) And this National Geographics set is just amazing, so many rare species in one set. Wished they were mine, sigh |
