It is nice to see them grouped like this, then you can make comparisons easier. I really like the chimp family from schleich, the feet on the collectA cheetah look a little wierd to me, and the difference between the safari and collectA fennecs is huge! But I will probably get them both anyway.

Well, two fennecs, two vultures, a Scimitar oryx and a king cheetah it is not so bad indeed. last year was a big African antelopes year, 2013 will be more classic for African fauna Wink

I do like the ones that they have, though not looking positively at the new Schleich Hippo...which I hoped would go good with the new 2012 Mojo hippo. I do like the cheetah and oryx as well as the vultures.

I have not a great feeling for the SCHLEICH hippo pics, it looks to me like the 2012 elephants which have too big heads and too odd proportions for my taste...

I love the schleich chimps and I'm not sure about the hippos. Overall I think they came out with some beautiful figures and some rare species! Very Happy

I'll be getting all the chimps, all the hippos, all the vultures, all the fennec foxes, and the gnus. I don't love all of them, but I'll be getting them. The oryx and king cheetah are also must-haves for me.

Not very exciting the most known fauna. But it means that some brands are also concentrating in other faunas what is excelent! Very Happy
The 2 fennecs because I collect foxes, it will look the Safari Mom with the CollectA baby! Laughing
The 2 griffons too. I'm not very excited with the looking of the oryx but I hope it will be better and being the species it is it is enough to enter my wish list. Very Happy
Mojo still has a word to add here and surely Papo will bring more African fauna too. Very Happy

I don't like the safari wildebeest, it's legs are too thick and hooves oversized.

I am curious--are the vultures African species? I think they are Eurasia species. The griffon vutlure can be found in very small areas of the very northern part of Africa but mostly in southwest asia and southern Europe. Source: Wikepedia
