| Thanks Ana - Gab - Christophe - Ken - Susanne - Martien - Harriet - Robert Yes, most of them are very wild in my life! Turkey, mallards, peacock, swans, grey goose, mandarin, etc. Only the white ducks, white goose and smaller turkey must find a better place to live. :) |

| Congrats Roger! Your white Schleich duck can come live with me if he is no longer welcome at your home.
And we have wild turkeys here in Virginia. Lots of them! I always considered them more of a wildlife bird than farm life.

| they're wonderful! congratulations! I didn't know Safari made a Calif Condor! He'd be quite tempting if it were possible to display him other than lying on his belly like he's crash landing. But then, they did need to display those wings. They didn't make the birds to scale, because you have to see those wings to believe them. It wasn't until a saw a real live Calif Condor that I truly appreciated how BIG those things are. It was a special showing at the LA Zoo, and when he spread his wings, everyone literally gasped. Another time, we were up in the mountains when there was a rumored sighting, and we spent all afternoon trying to catch a sight of him. We didn't but just knowing he was around there somewhere was a great feeling. Seeing a Calif Condor in the wild would be a highlight of my life. _________________ carolynn

| Thanks Carolynn and Vivien! :) We can see in some videos how large are the wings of a Californian condor and thinking that Andean condors are even larger make us thinkhow impressive they are. I hope also someday see it in loco! :) Vivien, I remember what happened with your mandarin and now I remember where is my last swan! There's a lot here in local shops so I'll get another very soon! |

| These last weeks I received some great packages from friends of the forum and unfortunately I'm not finding time enough to post them. But, slowly, I'll post them all! :) This particular one I received only some time ago and from our great friend Susanne! That's a stupend package! First some Safari figures that I wanted a lot! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Safari red panda, Indian rhino and roadrunner The red panda and roadrunner are the first in my collection and I love them! ... but the Indian rhino, not being the first, is one of the best figures that ever introduced my collection. Fortunately other members were already able to show great pictures that make him justice. :) What do you collect? Horses, dogs, this rhino must take a place in your collection! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here my 3 modern rhinos, a great black rhino from Papo, an excelent Indian rhino by Safari and a poor white rhino by Papo. So I need a new white rhino of a great quality and I already know where to find it! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Safari red panda, Susanne, the Bully Queen always find some Bully treasures for my collection. This time the pretty grouse to join my galliforms and a marmot that I also wanted a lot to join my Papo! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Bullyland grouse and marmote One more fox for my collection and probably my favourite of all. I love the pose and legs of this wonderful creature! Also a Science & Nature kiwi, all S&N figures are in my wish list so I'm really happy for receiving such interesting creature and again a new species in my collection! :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Starlux fox and Science & Nature kiwi At least a pure surprise. Another friend to join my 1:32 farm collection and one more Britains! That's a great sculpt as usual and I think this is a Angus cow! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Britains black aberdeen Angus cow Susanne, you always find extraordinary figures. I really love them all and a lot! Thanks for being so generous and such a great friend! |
