Like I suspected. In Schleich there is an octopus with more years than tentacles!!! This one and the walrus could open way to a leopard seal! I have a lot of penguins for him!!! |

- WELL, THESE ARE NOT BAD FIGURES, I SEE NO NEED IN RETIRING THEM. Last year you didn't want Schleich to retire the wild boar family, as they were lovely models, but they did retire them. As Willy said, no matter how good the model is, it still has to go some day.

Yes, I know, the old ones have to make room for the new ones... It's inevitable, but there are always many options - what will go and what will stay. And I'd prefer, for example, if the fox and hare were retired this time, not the deers. |

| Schleich doesn't always choose the right options, mainly for collectors. The boars were nice, but I haven't heard one kid say ''Mommy, please, those wild boars are my favourite animals, let's buy them!''...well...exept me when I was 9! And I have them ever since... |

In 2010 were introduced warthogs (another series) but similar creatures, and the red deer family. Maybe Schleich is really detiring the white tailed deers. |

Maybe Schleich is really detiring the white tailed deers. I agree, Roger, it's very probable. Then I'll have to buy a one more white-tailed deer family till the end of the year... But let's wait for official info. I'm sure Schleich can surprise us as they usually did. |

| When I see 2010 cathalog the fox looks like is trying to go away unobtrusively and the eagle looks like is not landing but preparing to fly away like did the eagle owl! |

| Great work, Willy. It will be interesting to see if it is similar to last year's edition.

| My predictions: - 2003 Arabian foal. It's a bit ridiculous to have two foals of the same breed on sale since there's only one Arabian mare and it's quite rare that horses have twins and even rarer that twin foals would survive the first few days... - Falabella. I'm not so sure about this but hmm... it looks maybe a bit out-of-date since it's been around for a while. The picture of the "mystery foal" that Willy shared with us looks like a Falabella foal to me, so maybe they're making a whole new Falabella family! - Western riding set. That really looks out-of-date, compared with the Western set with horse + rider. The tack is sort of... orange and they make them more elaborate these days. Not that I know that much about Western riding and tack. - Dressage set. IF the Western set is discontinued, then possibly this one too. It's been around for a long while... |

| It's October already and I'm becoming more and more impatient to know what is Schleich goin' to discontinue this time. I'm willing to buy doubles of the figures to be retired before November and then start saving money for the new stuff and other things like Papo and Safari Haven't everyone still heard anything on the topic? |

| I just went to a store nearby that carries some schleich and they also had the Longhorn Bull on clearance. Maybe just a coincidence. |

| Oh yes, Australia...you could probably do a website like that with all your figurines and if someone was willing to pay you $100.00 for one you might be willing to sell too! That's if you had an extra of that figure. There is a online store over here that puts new figures listed with retired figures for sale at higher prices too but they ship only within the continental U.S.A. - sorry. | I wrote them this:
Hello there,
I found your site over a link on the forum of the biggest Schleich collectors in the world, including me and some of my friends... What has happened with the prices you are asking for the Schleich and other items? Did you make a mistake with the komma on the wrong place, or are you making mis-abuse of the fact that some collectors want all the Schleich items? Even when you are the most far away from the Schleich company, you never have to pay the prices for them, as what you are asking! Please be reasonable! Friendly greetings.
