Today my package from Valinor arrived! It's the Hanoverian Mare and Foal set.

I absolutely love this model, she's now one of my favourites

I also noticed some colouration differences between my new foal and my original one, so I thought I would go a little off topic and share with you guys.
I think the colour difference makes the model more unique and beautiful

That's so interesting! This foal is actually pretty different..! Very nice you've a variation now :)

Yesterday I received a package all the way from Finland
Inside was the horses I ordered from Jonas, plus some other special things  
Unfortunately, the weather in England is very dull right now, so apologies in advance for the bad pictures

I open up the box and..what's this? A lovely note from Jonas along with a cute little doodle

Behind that, there was this beautiful drawing

Now I'll get to the really exciting part

First up is the (old) Hanoverian mare, I think she'll eventually become victim to my customising

Next up was the Papo Thoroughbred mare, she's very pretty

At the bottom of the box there was the schleich chestnut mare

And..who's this? The papo piebald cob foal! How unexpected

But the surprise wasn't over yet, I then opened the Papo Arabian mare

And my last surprise was the Safari Ltd. Morgan Mare She's my first Safari too

Inside were the CollectA Appy and the CollectA Arabian

(Apologies for the bad lighting..winter time is definitely here )
The Appy is made of the 'hard' material and feels very solid

However, they're both very lovely models, I highly recommend them

Nice to see all your additions at once. Many nice horses and friends. Curious to see some made in Portugal and also a figure that originally was bought in Portugal and keeps her long race to find a owner that really loves her. Collecting in community is really amasing!

Hello again!
I've finally broken up from school for Christmas! This means that I've had time to do some *model horse* shopping

I decided to order my Schleichs from Utterly Horses as they're a UK based company and I have to say, I am so incredibly impressed by their great service (not to mention extremely fast shipping during Christmas time) and great postage prices!

I took my photos just as the light was beginning to fade but here we go:

My final Schleich from this package is the Lustino - he is a gorgeous mold but he's made from a different material that the others, it's almost waxy.

Now, I present something very special to me, my first Breyer horses!

They're traditional scale and called "GG Valentine and Heartbreaker"
I was very nervous to start collecting Breyers as they're quite expensive for me, so I did a bit of research and decided to take the plunge and buy these guys, I am certainly glad I did, however now I think I've caught the collecting bug

I was mesmerized by beautiful pictures as well
and the same thing happened to me
and I ended up buying two Breyers as well.  
So anytime I feel the urge again, I say this mantra:

"The price of one Breyer Traditional Horse,
could also buy you 10 random animal figures, do you feel remorse?

It works for me (so far.)
