Papo 2022 List - Updated with Winter releases

Well, I hope Okapi, Beaver, African buffalo, African sea eagle, Wolf, Wolf pup, Forest snail, Common dolphin, Leatherback turtle ,Styracosaurus won't be repainted old models but I'm affraid we'll be disapointed soon.

Escargot des bois is indeed Cepaea nemoralis, maybe Papo decided to make a more colourful snail like the company did for poison frogs.

I'm glad a Magpie will be made at last and I wish the Tit is a Blue tit, a very French idea indeed.

Since they made the robin last year, I'm kind of assuming it's either going to be a great tit or blue tit. Both are very common here (Slovenia), but the great tit is more popular/known. Either would be great for me.

I wrote it before, Okapi, Beaver, African buffalo, Leatherback turtle, Charolais cattle are not repaints or remakes. They are re-issues, with the same catalogue number. So, not new models, neither refreshed like CollectA did with the Meerkat or the female Kangaroo.
The same models, risen up from the dead. The rest seem to be new, at least they have new cat. numbers.

Well, I spent more than I should on the leatherback turtle last year. xD But you shouldn't feel bad because you couldn't have known.

Maybe but Papo isn't a German brand, Waldschnecke is the traduction of "Escargot des bois" which is a real species in France, Cepaea nemoralis.

It's the "Hain-Bänderschnecke", english Grove snail.

No dogs but what an amazing list! Very exciting with all these new releases being announced!

That's quite ok for me, because I was still searching for the Beaver and the Charolais.

So far, Papo seems to have the most exciting lineup for the next year (but I'm still having some expectations for CollectA and Safari).

I don't think that's too bad, these models weren't the worst representation of the species, but I really hope the same will happen to the hippo female and the Giant anteater, as I simply missed the opportunity when I had it.

Could someone please give the references of the Papo 2022 figures?

By the way, what happened to the butterfly, the ant and the lobster from this year?

If the 2020 Anaconda has not eaten them all, rumours say that we'll see them in December..

Several re releases but I am ok with that. The birds are lovely! The bull is stunning. The wolves leave something to be desired but I am not complaining. :) Mostly in paint work for those, but I am not a biggest fan of that pup model... personal preference of course.
