They are models form the wild republic polybag of african animals but I think they are made in china and are also available elsewhere under different names.

Can anyone help me with this beauty? I got it in a trade with Karin, but we both don't know what it is. I don't even know what species it is xD Looks a bit like a dingo/Ethiopian wolf. But I don't know the brand either.

On the base of the lion it says Made in West Germany.
I do have the adult polarbear, but am still looking for the 2 cubs and the brown bear.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

They're supposed to be Manurba, I've just tentatively ascribed (with question mark) the similar farm/domestic animal set to Jean. The 'Made in West Germany' is very similar, but this set (yours) is also found in a hard styrene (which Manurba used quite a bit), while the farm set is only in soft ethylene. But the whole Jean/Manurba/Big thing is hard to define, especially with these small items when they were all supplying them as premiums or 'lucky-bag' gifts to other parties - or each other!

A second look and I'd suggest the grey and white ones are Manurba and the brown and cream/yellow ones are probably Jean...

The big kangaroo in the left upper corner reminds me of the bigger Wild Republic kangaroo. I have one too, but mine has other colours. Here it is:

That zebra is much probably a grevy's as I commented on Julie's additions topic. :) We don't have many informations about AAA so it is just judging the painting and shape of this figure.
I hope you get it and now I am really excited to see how it looks the projenitor of this foal. bounce Very Happy

I also can't help but it is very interesting. It seems one of these Australian parrot species, I don't know each one, a rosella or something like that. I am sure you may be a very good source to unknown for us, companies of Australia and New Zealand featuring local fauna. Very Happy Keep your good work finding so many nice figures. bounce By the way, can you find anything marked in that figure? study

The last couple of days I have been enjoying my Plaho/Marolin models. They have been packed down for some time, so it is a pleasure to meet them again Wink

Among them there is this wonderful bear, which I got together with some Plaho models some years ago.
I suppose he is a DDR model, but he has no brand mark, and I just can not remember how I got him.
Can anybody help me identify hos background, please ?  Very Happy
