| Thank you, 4U. Its been awhile, but I have made headway on my trike! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All I have left to do is stamp the texture (like above the hips) on the rest of the body. Not quite sure about the crocodilian bely scales, though. |

The triceratops is in 1:30, and everything else in 1:20 scale. Sorry, I do not make copies as of now but am completely flattered at your asking. |

| Thank you MiniZoo, 4U, and Lucky Luke for your kind words. I'm about ready to bake the trike after texturing, but I wanted to see what others think of the texture: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I don't think scales in most dinosaurs would be visible in this scale, but I read that ceratopsids have been found with more prominent scales. Any thoughts? Also: in the background I included really quick (15 min) paint ideas/studies to try and figure out how I will paint it. I think the final paint will look like the picture on the right of just the head. |

| Two months since last update; I took a vacation to Florida a few weeks ago and have been trying to keep up with schoolwork, but I finally can show pictures of my newest models. Firstly, my triceratops, finished. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I tried to keep the patterns more subtle, as in the horns or sacral area. I also entered this into the town fair, only to find that it was broken by one of the people in charge of arranging the sculptures. Only the tip of one horn and the tail, it will be an easy fix. I did not win anything, either. My piece was the only 3D work which was actually a sculpture, the others were stained glass and decorative items- not something I think I should be competing against, but I digress. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I also got to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom on my visit to Florida and took lots of pictures. I was lucky enough to see a white rhinoceros, Ceratotherium simum, and get clear pictures, which got me started on this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The legs are probably a little long but that's because I didn't put it in wood yet. |

| Good to see you back here! Your rhino sketch is really good, so I think the sculpture will be too. Fantastic colour on the triceratops. _________________ - Tahnaya [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] https://www.minizoo.com.au/ |

I was going for a smooth texture, as not to make it too distracting from the form. My next dinosaur probably will not have scale texture at all due to scale (mind the pun) and scale size. |

| I've just seen these updates- I need to go back and look at your other sculptures! The Triceratops looks very nice- I especially like its bulky body shape in the second picture. I'm sorry to hear it was judged against stained glass. Your subject choices are good also- bison, non-displaying peacock, walking Pteranodon (happy to see this, I've thought about trying something similar). Also your front and back rhino sketches are very interesting. _________________ - Andy
