Show Us Yours : Buffalo ( Mid December 2013 )

Thanks everyone. I agree that there should be a female in the herd esp. since the calf was not an immaculate conception!   

Those may be the ones I photographed but have a full herd of 40+ buffalo, representing all the brands. I love cape buffalo.

I also wish there were more bulls in the wild bovine world, but at the very least, please give us some more calves!

Nice collection Andreas! I like those Playvisions a lot! (and I covet your old schleich cape buffalo. that was one I never ended up getting.)

I just want to say that I love all three of these Bison. (I just recently received the new 2014 version.) I wouldn't part with any of them and as nice as the newest schleich american bison is, I love both of the older versions too.

I really love bison, so maybe it's that, but still! schleich done good.

Susanne already posted a picture of the Safari Bison, but I want to put up one more, since I think it's a great model.

Also, I have to say, after just having looking over Susanne's collection on the first page, wow. That Starlux Amercian Bison makes my heart explode with greed. It is one of my five most wanted figures. An ultimate catch for me. (Actually, I can't, off-hand, think of five other figures I want as badly, so I'm going to revise that and say one of my three most wanted…no no, sorry, I changed my mind. Five. The Starlux Bison (both american and european) are wonderful though.)

Oh, great buffalos everyone! Very interesting to see them

I have for example this group of cape buffalos but unfortunately they all stayed in Poland, it's old photo of them.

I agree the right foreground is a Chinese "knock off” of the Britains Bison.

Okay  

Very nifty buffalo you people have! The new Schleich bison appears a great deal better to me here than it did in its catalogue pictures. I may have to get it, I think..

Hey there Chris - thanks for the information! I'm shamefully unknowledgeable on Britains models, so I wasn't entirely certain.

Chris, your Gaur is so wonderfully painted! I love the glossy texture and the color. Mine is not nearly as lovely. Congratulations!
