The KING VULTURE by Joan !!!

Please allow me the honour of showing one more magnificent work from Joan's hand : The KING VULTURE   

It is very brave of Joan to make such an enormously difficult model, but he as succeeded 110%. 
It is a breathtaking model !!!!
He has not just made it accurate, - he has captured the lightness and hugeness, the power and elegance, the ugliness and beauty !
The detail is incredible, and still the model has total harmony and ballance...

Well, words ( And in a foreign language) fail me.  
But fortunately the sun peeked out yesterday, so I could take some photoes with the right colours .....quite a lot of photoes, sorry !

Really fabulous and fantastic figure. It's really nice. I hesited between the sitatunga and the king vulture but I finally choose de sitatunga and when I see this sculpure, I would like to have one.
However, I love the antelopes and I buy faster the handmade ones from Joan.
Congrats Susanne, it's a jewel in your collection
