Here is a before picture, but of a duplicate. I attempted to reposition the tail, but it only stayed that way for a few minutes. Stubborn thing.

Yes, tails and legs can be very stubborn. I use to bend them using boiling water. First I reposition leg or tail with help of old pencil or piece of wood and wire. Then put victim to boiling water for 10 minutes and after that cool down slowly before removing wires and wooden pieces. It has worked me so far

It's interesting to see everyone's work so far. The genet figure is very nice and the parrot is quite suspenseful. Also well-done domestic animals with some impressive horse surgeries.

He is not a horse, so I think I can handle him without messing up.  His antlers need repositioning, however, so I'm ordering putty before the painting can happen.  There may be a family member that also needs customizing. I hope his new owner will be happy with him...

Finally about done with mine. Mine is just a repaint, and I got lucky that my recipient mentioned the magic word dinosaur. Here is the original version, it's the Battat Nanshiungosaurus

and here it is repainted. I indulged my fondness for metallic colors and used copper and mixed a metallic green. Hopefully the recipient wont mind a polyester disco dino.

I'm still thinking about repainting one of my Schleich Clydesdale mares. I have one Made in China and one Made in Germany (or Portugal, I don't remember, lol). But I just can't decide. What do you guys think? Which one would be better?
