In this topic, I`m showing the presents from my generous STS friends and this year I also have some great gifts

Some of them, I got a long time ago...but I didn`t have time for photos...
But first, I`ll start with my last and wonderful gift, from a very special person

Susanne is helping me so much, with my collection to grow.
She knows my taste very well ...and she knows , that I realy love Apes and Monkeys
And especially Gorillas
On my Gorilla collection, I have many of them from Susanne ...and she did it again !

Those are wonderful and rare figures for a gorillas collector! I love them, they're unique designs in this hobby and female gorillas are not common at all! Susanne is often bombarding our houses and making us happy. You deserve for sure Susanne's perfume!

Actually I have also the Safari Ltd. Wildlife Wonders - Silverback Gorilla, which is also big :)

Talking about Vanishing wild models , I want to share with you what I bought from our STS friend and very tallented person - Miguel (Signatus)
I saw that he is selling some great Safari Vanishing wild models on Ebay and with also great prices.
So I contacted him and he was so kind to offer me also a free shipping
That`s why I feel these models from Miguel, with so less prices and free shipping - like gift to me :)
And for shure they belong here :)

A while ago, I wanted to get two of the Ravensburger Tiptoi models : Black Rhino and Gorilla.
So, I asked for help our great friend Andreas (widukind).
And beeing so kind, Andreas helped me in a perfect way  
He checked the prices in the german shop, close to his home... and then he bought, and sent these two models to me  
That`s why I also feel these models like a gift from a STS friend  

I made my photos, to be useful for TAI, but I also made a mistake...
I was so fast with trying to see, if I can remove the orange thing.....that I forgot to take photos before that  
So, please tell me friends, are these photos useful for TAI ? If yes, I will send them to Susanne Here they are :

First, the Black rhino :

I like this model.
It has a nice shape, nice pose ..and I realy like her legs.
Yes, it is a girl :)
Only the head is a bit short and not so natural looking,... but I`m happy with this model.

I find this model charming and interesting.
My feelings are, that the head is a bit too big for this body,...but all in all - like it :)

Big congratulation for this great invasion Kosta. VW are really beautiful and I'm happy you have completed the Gorilla family. I had some VW in the past and I traded or sold most of thembecause I can't keep everything at home and I dislike to put my collection in box. Nevertheless I was, indeed I'm still, unable to let the VW gorillas quit.

I also like evry much tne TipToi black rhino, the head is smaller than most of black rhino toy's heads but I don't think it is a problem. These animals have shorter faces than their white cousins and some look like the TipToi. I agree this lady have beautiful legs

Wonderful pictures and great additions! Once more, I agree with Christophe, maybe the head of the rhino is not as small as it may look. Actually, most black rhino figures have large heads what is a mistake once it is a feature of white rhinos as Christophe mentioned. Maybe the shape is not correct but these proportions help giving the imposing appearance of these creatures what makes this figurine look much ibigger than it actually is. Gorillas are also wonderful and how great that STS is full of friends.

And I agree, that the head it`s not big in real black rhinos...and the model is ok like proportions : body-head.
But I mean, that the head is a bit short ... especially the forehead part.

I will show what I mean :

We can see, that A and B are almost the same size on real rhinos.
(and it is the same in all Google photos of real black rhinos)
On the Tiptoi model, B and C are too short compared to A .
