Kinto Favorite FP-002 Wooly Mammoth: A walkaround by Kikimalou

Mammuthus primigenius, the Wooly mammoth is the best studied of any prehistoric animal through the discovery of frozen carcasses in Siberia and Alaska, as well as skeletons, teeth, stomach contents, dung, and depiction from life in prehistoric cave paintings.

Although the woolly mammoth was roughly the same size as modern African elephants, its closest extant relative is the Asian elephant. It was covered in fur, with an outer covering of long guard hairs and a shorter undercoat. The colour of the coat varied from dark to light. The ears and tail were short to minimise frostbite and heat loss.

In the Toy world, wooly mammoth is one of the most common of any Prehistoric animals after Trex and Triceratops.

In 2014, the Kinto Favorite company opened a ”Prehistoric animals” line and of course a wooly mammoth was in the first wave. This one is sculpted by Hirokazu Tokugawa at a 1:22 to 1:30 scale

No it isn't. Kinto Softmodels are exactly like Majors products. The hollow ones are the Vinyl models, more intended for children.
