US series Yowies swap topic

Welcome back, Kelly! I hope things continue to get better for you. My favorite hosting site right now is Flickr and it is free....so far, anyway.

I will keep an eye out for your wanted items. I occasionally find them second hand now in my area.

I have one extra Mandrill but unfortunately no Elephant Seal. I'll gladly trade 1:1 for any of my wants (the first post in this thread).

I have an elephant seal, so maybe mission accomplished! I have a list posted also.

Updated my list in the first post. Just need two more from Series 5: Wolffish and Short-nosed Sea Snake. I will trade 2:1 for either.

Aand today at the store I got a wolffish, after trading for the one I needed... it's yours if you want it!

My list is updated until I go shopping again; I am trying to finish up a transaction and will trade any 3 figures off my available list for a handfish or a sea snake. I will trade other figures I have generously for these figures as well.

A topic about the new Yowie USA series 6, Jessica brought to us, was opened here.

Bumping the topic in hopes that the new series will be more widespread soon, and so that new members seeking Yowies can find it.

I was just at Walmart and checked. I'm usually one of the last places in the country to get them though.

I thought I was last to get them! Honestly, I think it's just a distribution thing. I usually find mine at Walmart but my store is slow to get rid of old stuff (I was finding series 3 mixed with series 5 this last round. Just weird.).

Are we sure they'll be released in the US at all? The Yowie web site has them listed under "Australian Collections," but not under "US Collections."

I'm fairly certain this is exclusively an Australia release and not a US one at this time. Although, like past US exclusive releases, they were eventually released in Australia too. So I'm thinking they will eventually be available in the US... probably not anytime soon though.

...and that's why I bought mine on eBay now, in case they become hard to find or more expensive if not released in the US.

Good to know! I haven't seen them here, either, although I haven't been to Walmart in a while. I'm happy to wait on them.
