A large model, but it is WONDERFUL

Beautyfully sculptured, - the artist must have spent hors and hours and hours, and still the proportions a perfect

In these close-up pictures we see that the paintwork has some flaws, but when Monkey stands on the shelf, is is not realy visible

ADW says that squirrel monkeys are slender and thide build. Finally a company that understood it!
Yes, the first thing we can see in this figure is how good are these proportions. It is always tempting to make these animals to look more like plushes but Safari didn't sing that song.
It is also remarkable the work with the fur and the pose gives also a lot of life to this figure.
Squirrel monkeys have nails, not claws.... your sharp pictures also show it clearly.
I think I am not exagerating if I say that Safari made one of the best monkey figures among major companies. It is a fact that scale is not important for me but I really wished they could do it smaller in their Wild Safari Wildlife series. Thank you for showing a figure that I confess I was not expecting to be so good.

Wow, this figure is amazing! They have outdone themselves. I wish I had a shrink ray.  

It would be wonderful if Safari Ltd would create smaller versions of their larger figures. They seem to have done it with their Blue Ribbon palomino mare in the Winner's Circle line. There are so many Blue Ribbon / Wildlife Wonders / Incredible Creatures that I would love to buy, although display space is a real concern for me.

The Squirrel monkey is nice, but just like the others concerned, it is a bit too big for me.
