Interesting, my version looks different. Less white colored. |

| I've seen your one is much darker. But there are also some darker and lighter animals in nature. |

| There are some painting variations in Science and Nature, they're not as known as in Schleich because the brand is less popular and not widely available. Mine and the one pictured on TAW are also less white. So, you have a very interesting variation. Why have you decided for the S&N and not the Southlands? I love both, I am just curious. |

| I get the one from Southlands later, because it is another species. This Quoll from S&N is an Eastern Quoll and the one from Southlands is a Tiger Quoll. |

| Three excellent additions! I also have them and curiously the anhinga is the least favorite among these. Maybe it is because it seems I've got a not very well finished batch, it seems rather bendable with a poor balance. My Safari raven has the same problem. The other reason could be that my figures were subject to high temperatures during shipment but that is something I cannot be sure. Back o the bilby, I find these animals so cute and appealing to children that it is hard to understand why they're so rare as figures. A bilby would surely match Schleich style, for instance. |

| Thank you Roger, Caracal and Andreas. Yes, the Bilby would fit really well in the line of Schleich. I've read that there are chocolate bilbies for Easter. With those Bilbies, the Australian government wants to make the Bilby more popular and so it's easier to save them. |

| Today, my newcomers from Andreas arrived. They are all really beautiful. It is the Chap Mei Lion-tailed Macaque, a Honey Cowry, a Furuta Masked Lovebird with Cobalt Mutation, a Pajama Cardinalfish, the Safari Glass Squid and a Frog, where I still have to identify the species level. | I have the Bullyland version that is more delicate but the Schleich roebuck is a very good and robuste version. It is retired already for a good time, you were lucky getting it. Roe deers are one of the misteries of this hobby. They are quite popular animals in European culture, the true Bambi, not the Disney version, is a roekid. Currently roedeers are rare or inexistent in toy shape and the white-tails are quite common. Yes, the Disney version is a white-tail. |

| Yes, I have the same problem. In all German Disney's Bambi books it is marked as Roe Deer. So, I always have to read White-tailed Deer:) And that's maybe the problem. Even in Zoos all parents told their children that a Fallow Deer is a Roe Deer Mayhap, this is the reason why toy models of this common species are so rare. I also thought about to get the one from Bullyland. But all the ones I've ever seen that quite strange faces. |
