Now you've got the pronghorn! It is also a retired figure and it surely don't have a strange face. Wink i also own that peccary, it was a surprising release from Safari. Luckily the company continues gifting us with wonderful and rare species. pig

Yes, I also like the Peccary very much and I hope Safari will never stop to creature such beautiful species.
Now, I only need the Quagga from Mojo :)

I have the javelina (collared peccary) from Safari too, and it's a favorite because I grew up with them in Arizona. Honestly it is not a surprise; the animal is very common and familiar in western/southwestern North America, and Safari has a very nice line of North American fauna.

I've never seen them in real life. But the Zoo of Leipzig has Chacoan Peccaries.

You are right, of course. The series, as the name implies, is based on North American fauna. It also explains why I have so many figures from that series and also why I am always so excited to see what the line is bringing new.

Difficult to see a newcomer to your collection without a background of all the other animals! :)
This is a magnific elephant seal, very well done, tough it's very small. Anyway I like it (I also have it)

P.S. I don't think nothing indicates that is a Northern one. It's supposed to be the Southern species.

Exactly.
Do have the old Schleich Vulture, which you can see in the background? I think it could be a Himalayan Vulture, because of its pale colour.

Belated happy birthday, and what magnificent gifts! The ibis and quetzal from Safari must be long time retired, I don't remember seeing them in any catalog or online shop... So double congrats!
P. S. what is the cetacean in front of the scarlet ibis? Looks like a bit like an Irrawaddy dolphin...
