Hello Susanne, I can't get them in the local shop. They are only sold on the Alibaba(Taobao).

I bought them one year ago, but they are not sold well in China because the scale problem.

A fellow collector from Poland, Dorota (also a member of this forum, nick: Dorotheah) has found very interesting horse models from the times of her childhood. I wanted to help with identification but I really think I see them for the first time. She let me share the photos here on this forum.
Does anyone know what brand are these horses? We think they may be originally designed in Poland but perhaps they are re-casts of other brands from a different country? They are at least 30 years old. The size is similar to Britains horses.

The photo comes from Dorota's blog where you can also see more photos of these models: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I too think they are quite lovely Smile and I haven't seen them anywhere else. So, now I think they are very probably designed in Poland.
Those times Polish producers made many copies of Britains, Veb Plaho and Marolin animals, so I thought maybe they didn't design any original animals at all, but it seems they did Very Happy Ha, now I wish I could find these horses to my collection also Very Happy

I think flea markets are not very popular in Poland, unfortunately. I don't think I have much chance to ever find those models but who knows. scratch study

That is the Kaiyodo Black rhino released in 1989, resin model kit.
It was sculpted by Shinobu Matsumura, he also made the African elephant which was recently re-released.

It is 1:12 scale (28 cm long).
