| Seems to be inspired in Karako-iro peacock fans and now you will use it as a Flamenco fan. Very beautiful and artistic piece, sorry for not being of help but peacocks are quite common in Japanese culture. |

given the curled tail I would say a spitz type dog, possibly a dingo. But generally speaking wild dog species don't have curled tails. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. Spanish collection “Fauna del mundo”, 70s Any more details? Fauna del mudo is the manufacturer? Are there any references (photos, catalog, list of figures in the set/collection, etc.)? BTW: This figure I got from Japan not Spain... |

BTW: This figure I got from Japan not Spain... It is a very large collection. Most of the figures in this series are based on Injecta, Arco and Hausser figures, except a few like the peacock. I don't think it is a Spanish brand, just a collection marketed here in the 70s. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I think the Spanish collection "Fauna del Mundo" is from Comansi. I have no idea if it is the same. |

It is not the same. Comansi's featured models of their own, except for a couple of figures that were Britains versions. I believe this collection in the photos was a one-off and less popular. |

| Any information about this guy? In the last few months I have discovered some figures -interesting in terms of modeling- with a die to insert a pencil. It's a pity that a model at PV's height has this hole interrupting his anatomy, but in any case, the figure is interesting.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
