I've seen plenty like mine sell on ebay, from my understanding these sets have been for sale for some time and there are several color variations of each model they produced. Glad you found one though! They are lovely figures.

I won't buy it, it's not that good. The painting is like a 90's cheap figure. Nothing like yours.

Rough collies, what a gorgeous looking dog breed and we probably all know the famous one: Lassie.

What a wonderful collection! So many wonderful figurines, not sure which I would like best!! Great photos too!

I really like the Andalusians, especially the Safari model. Its a shame I don't collect domestic animals now.

What breed is the white faced cow? (I'm so ashamed that I am a farmer and don't know its breed )

That my friend is called a Black Baldy, a cross breed that comes from crossing Hereford with Angus cattle (or other solid black coat breeds). They are very common in my neck of the woods and my grandfather had some on his farm. (P.S. no need to be ashamed, we all learn new things. Also thank you for teaching me about that bird, the Southern Screamer. )

She's a very nice figure, do you know where I could find her? (I'm considering some domestic animals, I know I said I wouldn't collect any more)

That pair is from a brand called Little Buster Toys, American based. Not sure if you could easily find them in the UK but you can certainly try. They've made sever breeds (black Angus, red Angus, hereford, charlais, all from the same mold). I also have a show sheep from them, they have show pigs and show cows as well (new figures). They are larger than your average Schleich cow though for example.

For your info, the 3 on the top far left are Little Buster. Size compare to the current Schleich on the far right top row and current safari in the center.

Thank YOU. It makes me feel good to read that and pushes me to keep posting (because this is a big job to keep an almost 4,000ish piece collection up to date, phew!). I've noticed most people aren't as interested in domestic farmlife. Your words keep me posting!

You know, our taste of collecting is changing with the time ...so one day we are more focuse in wild .. one day more in dinos ...one day - more farm ...
And last days were farm days for me .. or let`s say last months :)
My farm collection was very poor ....till last monts. I focused more in cattle models and I got so many for so short time  Mooo

And photos like yours and from other memebers, makes me do it :)

Paige, could we see some more photos of the Little Buster show pigs,sheep and cows.I love seeing people's domestic animals so I then need to see what ones I need for my collection!!!
Also another thing that I find interesting is the trend in dog breeds.How some are made when dog breeds are popular eg Siberian Husky,French bulldog but that others are made on a regular basis, Dalmatian and they are far from popular.Are they made as they a easy breed to recognise along with Labs and GSDs?

I would love to but all that I have so far is the show sheep and the couple of cattle families. Here is a link though of their animal figure products (they have even more than i last checked! I need the goat now!).

Dogs are a very interesting trend in this hobby... its always special to see a different breed than the usual golden retrievers or GSDs etc. The Papo Pyrenees is a special treat for this year.
