| I REALLY REALLY like the elephant, he has the best head shape I think I've seen on any figure. I don't have the papo model, is it much bigger than the average schleich? _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I don`t have any of the Schleich elephants, but I think, they are the same size with Papo :) _________________ KOSTA |

| The Ellie is very nice and great to see that Eikoh is now producing larger figures. Thanks for the walk-around Costa _________________ James |

It is the only one, which comes in two parts. The head has to be assembled to the body. I am sure that this choice of Eikoh, is because it has to fits in the box, which is the same size for every model. The other models are smaller and they are one piece casted.
But I really like the sculpt of this elephant. Proportions, skin details, pose, colours... everything is very nice..
With the smaller Eikoh elephant :
And with Papo :
Last one from me ( for now) , is the triceratops , in blue colour :
Like the elephant, this model comes in two parts.. Again the head it has to be assembled to the body.
And again like the lion, Eikoh decided to make this model too bulcky , with very chunky legs .. But, still , it`s a charming model :)
For size comparison, here it is together with the newer Mojo one :
And with another blue triceratops, the Favorite Co. one :
This is from me for now... Thank`s for watching Where could I buy the elephant. Google doesnt show me even one link. |

| Oh, I missed this great topic for such a long time! It is a perfect way to present these models. I use to say Eikoh bears a kind of Western design on their models and these larger ones are not an exception. It is also a good surprise that their sizes match nicely with major brand figures. I agree the elephant is the best model of this batch but if I had to buy a single one, my choice would surely be the panda with baby. I’ve never seen before a set representing the change of the diaper time. Oh, I love the Edage panda plastic copy, such an expressive model. What is very Japanese on it is that they have to fit in a box that is the same size for all of them. I think the concept of the shelf toy that Western brands use, must be rethinked. Boxed or in blisters, I think it is the future of these toys. |
