| Thanks everybody!
Andreas, the elk is my only Scanopedia figure from a thrift store. I have no other info on the brand, sorry. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I love your collection Paige. I remember you have written before about the Giant Pangolin (that you display it in Asia for some reason). Is there a reason why the Bongo is displayed in South America? |

| Thank you Andreas, Kostas, and Bonnie.
Kostas there are some display exceptions in my collection. I.e. my porcupines are technically in my Temperate species wall shelves because I have only 4 and 2 of them I consider temeprate and want them together for now. Someday my african crested and indian will move to their repsective fauna bookcases. Same for pangolins, I have a few species (now) but not very many all together, and in this case my Africa display is very crowded so they instead default to Asia. Again, someday they will be split up too.
As for Bongos... I admit for some strange reason I thought they lived there but somehow I also knew that antelope are restricted to Africa and Asia... my stupid mistake! Thanks and I will fix it shortly. Sometimes these brains of ours and our collections are difficult to manage... _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks everybody!
I don't have a particular interest in tigers, but I suppose I like them more than lions. Everything there though is 99% Schleich, Safari, AAA, or Papo whereas my lions I have more brands mixed in... plus most of the tigers I have are BIG. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thank you Taylor. Last update for this years display showcase. Africa! Overview: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Top down: Honestly Giraffes are so hard to display... I have almost given up to just lining them up like my elephants because I always bump one and it turns into dominos... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My favorite shelf here. Can you guess why? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And alas probably my most expensive and latest obsessed figure... that white papo Snowflake. | Do we know why is that shelf your favorite? About giraffes, you are right, crocodiles are much better, you can't play dominos with them. |

| I'd be happy to show mu dingos here. Stay posted! Roger that shelf is a favorite as it has so many wild canines. For Asia all I have is the Tibetan fox and raccoon dogs... many people are ignorant of the diversity of wild canids but know all about wild cats for example. I really wish Safari or someone would make a dhole, bush dog, zorro, crab eating fox, etc. But yes croc displays have the opposite problem. Thank you very much Bonnie, Taylor, and Andreas. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks Adam. My collection was very small and restricted when I first started "officially" collecting and over the years and through the forum it has GROWN. All the models I have gotten from trade have memories attached. Thank you all for joining me in my latest display showcase. Its been fun! Even when I am corrected on the locale of bongos... I will probably only do this once a year after a thorough deep clean. Regularly scheduled "creature feature" outdoor photos will resume now. The outside plants are beginning to wake up! I have some snowy photos left though so we will have the best of both worlds for now. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks! Here you are Kiki, my pack of dingos. I have the two large Wild Republic/K&M polybag models, Southlands, my brand new Science and Nature , Safari, K&M tube, Yowies, and my first dingo was a Hartung I repainted. It is not very good but at the very start of my collecting I really needed a dingo so... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
