| what impressive dioramas you have made ! I have enjoyed this world tour, seeing many species close up - I really love the photo of the yellow coloured bear in the background in one of your scenes :) and the family of very beautiful pygmy hippos! They are very nice models well done on being so talented and creative :) - have you shown your local museum pics of your dioramas ?? |

| Incredible work!! All of these! I especially love how you do water. The dolphins and manatees in Florida are very convincing. You have such skill with making so many figures fit well into the space, and for including so many rich details. These could be an exhibit. |

| Today I completed 2 more displays: The Alaskan tundra & Eastern Russia! First, a small shelf: Eastern Russia! Amur leopards are my second favorite wild feline species, so I had to make a display dedicated to their region, especially after acquiring the BeautyofBeasts Amur leopard! So I went for a snowy forest with leaves still falling off the trees. I added a den for some tigers, while the leopards prowl overhead. A lone Asiatic black bear wanders the woods. Some Eurasian eagle owls perch along the rocks, and a small herd of red deer cautiously evade the predators. I really like how this one turned out, I wanted a suitable home for my Amur leopards [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Next, a large shelf, the Alaskan tundra! Snowy biomes are some of my favorite to make, and I really love caribou & wolves. So I was very much looking forward to this display! Since this biome had to be mostly flat, I wanted to try and still make it visually interesting. So after adding some painted fur for grass, I added rocks around the area and purple wildflowers. I like the pop of color and think it suits the tundra well as an early spring. I love the arctic wolves, caribou herd, and musk ox the most. I think this display is one of my favorites, although so far I've been very happy with all of them [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Jolie

| Lovely displays! I remember when the CollectA amur leopard was announced. But next to that BotB sculpt... _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. Thank you! Yes!! I remember getting the CollectA at the San Diego zoo when I was younger and I was so happy with my first Amur leopard. I played with it all the time. Then I discovered the BotB one and just could not resist! _________________ Jolie

| These two are really beautiful, I think it's the backgrounds working together so nicely with the scenery, they really have a harmonious look and feel for each place. And I really like how specialised you can be now you've decided to split into so many very specific habitats - out of interest how many displays are you up to, now? Compared to how many before the revamp project began? They must be taking up a lot more space, but looking so much more impressive and satisfying, as well as aesthetically pleasing! |

Thank you so much George! I really appreciate it! In my other home I only had 1 bookshelf and then various other random places I made displays. I had 21 dioramas, although most were quite small. While our new place is much smaller, I took all available wall space in my room to add bookshelves. I have 3 large bookshelves & 3 small ones (Each large sits next to 1 small). So I have a total of 6 bookcases in my room. I also have a small bookcase/compartment that my bearded dragon's enclosure sits on top of. So I will eventually utilize that space as well. I have planned 39 displays for my room, its quite the project! I have 19 done so far, so about halfway! I'll be doing a big tour when its all complete My room pretty much consists of my desk, bed, bearded dragon enclosure and bookcases _________________ Jolie

| Hahah, I can relate, my bedroom wall space is shelves, bookcase, shelves, bookcase bookcase bookcase, shelves, bookcase bookcase bookcase, tall bookcase tall bookcase, shelves, narrow bookcase, bookcase, small bookcase, door, with the only other thing on any of the walls being saddle racks over the bed where I'd be too worried about knocking shelving (some antique saddles, then one belonging to my first horse which I kept for sentimental reasons, and two from my current horse which again I've kept even though she outgrew the first one and I don't ride any more so she doesn't actually need the other one either ) Looking forward to seeing the tour when it's all complete and set up. I'm impressed you've got it all planned out and know exactly where you're going and how the total will end up! At least, until you inevitably buy one more model which doesn't live in any of your habitats and you need to start adding to the plan! |

| Today another large display, a European forest I included a small stream for otters and beavers, also for Papo's beautiful grey heron and spoonbill. The rest of my wolves were added to this display along with some wild boars and other wildlife. And relocated my hedgehogs to here as well [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Jolie

| Today I completed another display, the Arctic! I really love cold-dwelling animals and polar bears are my favorite species of bear, so an Arctic display is always one of my favorites. I used more sheets of glass to complete the half water, half land affect. Polar bears, seals, and walruses lay on ice floes, while a pod of beluga, orcas, and some narwhal swim below. I also added my Steller's sea eagle pair. I had trouble with what to use to mimic sediment on the sea floor. So I went with a mixture of rocks and dirt/moss to mimic the algae at the bottom. sadly I don't have any small sea stars or urchins to cover the bottom Here it is! | I had one larger bookcase shelf on the bottom, so I decided it would be perfect for an African savanna! I have the watering hole diorama, and now this one (which also sports some water) and yet I still have many poor African animals without a home I'll have to come up with a solution about that. I painted more fur to make some "grass" and I added some roots to mimic a dead fallen tree. I really like how it turned out [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Jolie
