My "stairs" are bamboo spice racks I get from local grocery stores. Theyre nice because of their construction, color, and finish, and they are uniform as you all have noticed. :) Thank you for your comments!

I didn't know there were any hourglass dolphin models!! What brand is the biggest one? Is it to scale with the other major brand dolphins? It's beautiful!!

Its a bit bigger than a "regular" scale main brand figure (sorry, I am no good at determining scale). I can provide a comparison photo tomorrow for you, the brand is Play Visions but its a larger style model for them, not the tube sized ones next to it.

What an amazing collection of sea life- you have so many killer whales! And I love some of those other whales too, so big and so incredibly realistic!

I have to back up a bit because I missed the reptiles and amphibians altogether, and they are an amazing collection! So many species and some really beautiful models in there. I think out of all of them, the olm and the milk frog and the albino boa are my favorites, but there are so many others like the soft shells and the basilisks and all those monitors that I also really love. All of them, really! Wonderful collection!

And even though I am a little bit less partial to cetaceans, they are an incredible line up as well. Some really excellent representations of some unusual species! I think the narwhals are my favorite group. :)

Another really impressive selection, some beautiful models in there - I tend to prefer the biggest ones in each picture, something about the fact they're large animals suits having a large replica. And I LOVE that biggest humpback whale, the clever use of those long fins and the tip of the tail to make it balance in a nice elegant horizontal position, instead of resting ungainly on it's chin or belly.

Thank you so much! You chose just the perfect other dolphins for me to see the scale, yes a bit on the bigger side but such an adorable model nonetheless. I'll have to keep an eye out for one thanks!

Wow so many wonderful sharks! I really love the goblin and frilled sharks, and of course that gorgeous Papo whale shark. I really want one of the brands to make an epaulette & Greenland shark, I think Safari would be a perfect candidate
