The Curious Compendium: The New Frontier...hit a speed bump :(

Thank you Jill, Duck-Anch-Amun, Bonnie, Kikimalou, and Taos! Its been fun and a lot of work... but mostly fun. :) The only downer is that many of my photos were made out of date by the time posted them! See you all next year!

Your collection is amazing.

Holy smokes. I cannot believe I haven't see your displays before. They're beautiful. I thought I had a lot of figures, but wow, I don't think I've ever seen so many in one place. I have to admit, I'm very partial to that cryptid display, but I love the varied types of setups you have. The insects are especially stunning, I'll have to check them out again when I inevitably start collecting those kinds of figures.

A new bookcase "rescued" and rehabilitated. It is my miscellaneous shelf for now... housing my nondinosaurian prehistorics and my cetaceans for the time being. :) Those corresponding displays are under construction... again...

I see, in the right front part of the lowest cetacean shelf, a Dall's porpoise! I tought it was the one that I did by commision but it can't be as it's smaller than Safari¡s vaquita and I did it bigger... so what is this Dall's porpoise?

Ah, thanks! So it's the articulated one that I already know, but in your image it seemed a whole single non-jointed piece to me and that confused me :)

what a wonderful bookcase! excellent rescuing in action! I love the colours of that wood, looks so elegant, especially with all the wonderful figures on it :)
And the chart beside it looks brilliant!

Another display that was months in the works... we got new carpet in the upstairs last fall and everything had to be out of the rooms including my breyers. After carefully packing them away (SO MUCH BUBBLEWRAP) they stayed in storage for these last few months because my large display shelves were pulling the drywall anchors out of the wall. After lots of experimentation and contractor type of work my Dad and I settled on using a rack/rail attachment system and its worked out great! So this weekend I finally got to put my breyers back up. Not the greatest photos as it is late and the display is 10 feet long but you get the idea anyway.

Really beautiful display! I love the little shadow boxes and how they match the brackets, a very pleasing setup. With so many Breyers they seem tiny but knowing how big each horse is really shows that this is a huge shelf

Wow, Breyers always look incredible displayed like this, what an impressive herd of horses!
And some dogs too!! I loved spotting the beautiful group of them in the 6th photo, what a fantastic pack, especially the gorgeous goldie and sheltie! The rottie's quite rare now so that's definitely an amazing Breyer dog to have, and it's a wonderful model too- as is the sweet little corgi, and I see you have the black, brown and white variation, it's beautiful! The Beagle's an unusual variation too, and that labrador is splendid, Breyer always gets their sculpts just right!

you have a wonderful sense of style and flow when presenting your figures - everyone is placed harmoniously in very attractive display modules :)

It's great to see this, because it means I don't need to worry about collecting too many Breyers yet . But more seriously, this is such a wonderful horse display and a very beautiful Breyer collection.
