Safari 2022 releases... updated with Sahara Desert TOOB

It looks very small for an Incredible Creatures model. Apparently the size is close to the CollectA version. Anacondas are really robuste creatures, Safari took it seriously. I enjoy the figure and it was an excellent idea to provide a more conventional pose to it.

I have the CollectA model but there is a good chance that I will be replacing it with this one. The pose and proportions are much better, and the paint job is attractive. Probably my favorite Safari release this year so far!

It is a nice looking model.

I will be replacing my CollectA with this Safari version!

This model will be too big for my diorama displays, but it’s such a beautiful snake! I have to grab it for my incredible creatures shelves!

I wonder if this could be a good stand-in for a Titanoboa... What scale would it be if I used it to represent the extinct giant boid?

For a 12 meters Titanoboa, this model is 1:22 scale.

The cheeta and the fennec look rather good! The gazelle and the addax would be better with thiner legs! :)

Good news (finally!) from Safari with this “desert toob”... That addax in 1:20 scale would be very nice...

On our blog, the addax is calculated at 1:45 scale

I really like this geographic concept for new Safari Toobs and figures are tendencially very good. This cheetah has excellent proportions for a tube sized figure and some designs are surprisingly good. I'm so happy the most beautiful piece is probably the fennec which is the reason why I'm adding this toob to my wish list. I like the snake too, I was waiting for this species for a long time.

Yes, it's a pity that some of the toob figures are not scaled to the "normal" catalog... because no major brand has made an addax yet!
