This figure was so widely used that it served as a fox too although it is a wolf. That's the reason why I have it in my collection too. :)

Do you have this fox from Marx? here a comparison picture with the Starlux and Hausser ones: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They all have a common vintage look, maybe leaking the rarety of pictures of wolves by these times.. They seem as they were from a fairy book! :)

Good to see the Hausser Elastolin wolf, I haven't seen it before. Now you say it, yes they look like fairy tale wolves.

| In the middle of this summer I had the joy to receive from our friend Yvette, this Oryx from Lineol, one of the monuments in the world of animals figurines, at a very very broken price, a gift price! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But he did not come alone for, fairy Yvette, added other free models to be a little restored or repainted: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]the best fox for ever: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and some others in a perfect condition!: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]with this brown bear maybe the best extant model: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I shall do my best to fill the litlle cracks of some with my WePAM paste, and to lightly repaint others, to give back to each of them its past splendor! During a long time, I thought these mass/compo models were not for me because of their rarety and prices but thanks to some friends like Yvette, Rogério and Jean-Louis from a french forum, I have now a wonderful collection! A big thank to each and particulary to Yvette who made my Christmast in July!

That's a unbelievable batch of rare, old and beautiful figures! Fairy Yvette has special powers, as I often say, we are very blessed of having Yvette in our community. Most of these figures would be prohibitive to us if it was not her help. Your orix looks really in great shape as well as many others in this lot. Your fox is the Lineol IV generation, right?

How superb Alain! and how truly wonderful of Yvette to brighten your summer! I just love how beautiful these models really are. That oryx is perfect ofcourse And the little fox is a beauty. I've never seen it before. The bears are amazing, and I really like their little ribbons! The black galloping horse is such a spectacular model! Again, I've never seen it before. I love the way it is made. And the icing on the cake is that superb zebra foal. What a beautiful gem! Perfect in every way. How exciting for you to have these in your collection Alain :) I look forward to hearing about your conservation repairs of them.
