I'm going to change my avatar to "he-who-posts-constantly-on-long-dead-threads". Or maybe, "the insomniposter".

Anyway, it really surprised me that Susanne's Thoroughbred did not have the white blaze on the face! (I need to start studying my variants more carefully.)

I just have to say that I love this Papo Thoroughbred. It is the only Papo horse I have and it is so unlike the Schleich horses that I love. But if my house were burning down (knock on wood) I would grab this thoroughbred.

I may have to get the papo appaloosa as well after looking at these pictures. thank you susanne!

I agree, that Papo mare is WONDERFUL !!!
The first Papo animals were perhaps rather primitive, but several of them did have this "something", - like the camels and the old sheep, - very unusual and very charming

I was surprised to see that they are brownish-black.
Perhaps it is the later ones, - does anybody have them in "real" black ?

The mare is lovely, but I've decided to collect horses by only one company (Collecta), unless I'll find some models which will match them in scale
