Originally from Corsica and Sardinia, they have been introduced across Europe for sport hunting. They can run at 50 km/hour and jump over a meter high!

Why Papo's mouflon is bigger than others?
Is it a different sub-species? or just different scale?

European mouflons are quite rare in the toy world, much rarer than ibex or chamois. They are, however, very beautiful animals.
I see that you have all the modern models, congratulations.
My preference is definitely for the CollectA, the Papo has something weird about the proportions and the Schleich doesn't convince me either.

A lot of Papo models from that era were larger than usual (I am hopeless with scale). But the Bullyland is smaller than usual scale too so...

The Papo model is just different scale.
Some authorities regard the European Mouflon as a very early form of feral domestic sheep and that the true Mouflon is from Asia minor.

Love these models! The Schleich mountain animals set was my favorite Schleich set. I remember being so excited when I got it.

Iberian and Canadian Lynx!

From what I can read, the first captive born lynx was born in Sierra Morena, Spain in 2005 (her name was Saliega). Something I found interesting was that males usually have to eat one rabbit a day to survive while females who are raising kittens need 3 or more!

Wonderful Iberian lynxes. Do you have enough bobcats for a collective picture?
About the Eurasian lynxes, which brand is the white-tailed one?
I agree with Christophe, CollectA has the best European mouflon but I also like the Schleich one. I was never impressed about the Papo model and it is not just a question of size but it is surely not a bad one.

Sea Otters!

They can dive up to 330 feet in their search for food! They are also very intelligent; males have been known to pup-nap the young of a female in order to barter it back for food (but sometimes the males' aggressive nature leads to unfortunate endings in these situations).

Great flock Paige I only own the Colorata one but I'm not comfortable with this. If I had to choose one I would go for the Safari Ltd IC but, like for red deers, I'm still waiting for the WOW one.
