| 1/10, that's a nice floor for those who use the metric system. It's so easy to divide everything by 10, and at this scale I'm only 17.8cm tall and my friend Tantor the elephant is 35cm tall at the withers. If a figurine in my image were possible, poor Tantor would still be too big for my displays, alas. There are 79 of them living on the 1/10 floor, which is far from being the most populated floor, but it's still very respectable. 27 birds, 18 mammals, 9 marsupials, 6 fish, 3 monotremes, 3 reptiles and a few others. | This one is very easy to calculate but no other scale beats the lifesized one. Wonderful citizens in this class, I enjoy especially the Oceanian members. I'm surprised to see a Fox Terrier here, actually that's a dog in my wish list. We know now that shoebills are dinosaurs but how we could doubt it? |

| I believe that the fennec fox figurine may actually be from Eikoh, rather than Papo, as it appears to have been mislabeled. |

| Beautiful again! Lots of animals from Australia and New Zealand at this scale. It looks like the caracal is begging the zebra for mercy . I have one of your 1/10 figures in my 1/32 scale reserve (as a cheat). Can you guess which one? |

| The Phat shoebill, i bought it because it was the first figure of a shoebill long time. Now, any other shoebill figures later, he is too large for my zoo. But a nice figure.
I really like the tragopan by Harriet |

Please Rogério, don't say this kind of things when Roger is around - Roger wrote:

We know now that shoebills are dinosaurs but how we could doubt it? The Oceanian members thank you I bought the Papo Terrier in 2010 because I thought I needed a dog in my collection. I chose this breed because I lived with a small wire-haired Fox Terrier named Gina for some time. I opted for the smooth Papo because I didn't like any of the wire-haired fiigurines. Three years later I bought the Kitan Club Shiban Inu but I kept the Terrier anyway. The Phat! Shoebill reminds me of the time when our forum was born. In 2010 it was the only model and it was almost impossible to find, I had a soft spot for this species. That was just before the Kaiyodo invasion. - Nasreddin wrote:

The Caracal is asking for the tenth time to stop moving to prevent the photo from being blurred I would say the Eikoh Common octopus used as a Giant Pacific octopus - Taos wrote:

I really like the tragopan by Harriet For me, this shoebill is still the benchmark. - Caracal wrote:
- Wonderful and useful pictures as usual!
The Mojo fun iberic lynx seems to be too small to compare withe the Schleich golden eagle! Thank you Alain Actually The golden eagle is 66 to 102 cm in length and the Iberian lynx head and body length is between 68 and 82 cm. - sunny wrote:

| I'm sure Roger wouldn't enjoy as much to collect figures in scale if they were lifesized. Researching and calculating the scale are a decisive part of the joy Roger has in this hobby. Also, 1:32 is sort of a magical number since it is half, the half of the half of the half of the half of the real thing. I am old enough to remember when wire-haired fox terriers were popular in Portugal just because it was Tintin,'s dog, Milu. Nobody used the breed name, it was popularly named as Tintin's dog. It is a good choice to tribute Gina and fortunately you bought it when it was still easy to find. Ironically, I started collecting a few dog figures when Papo stopped releasing dogs and most of these Papo retired are very hard to find and that one is also my number 1 choice for a Fox Terrier. So, it is a perfect dog representative in your collection. The Kitan Shiba Inu is in my opinion one of the best dog figures I've ever seen in this hobby. I'd probably get the Safari or Mojö someday, they're not as great but they fit nicely in my collection and they're easier to get. |

I imagine Roger climbing on a ladder to measure the height at withers of an elephant or a griraffe 1/32... half of... I never realised that, thank you, I will be less stupid tonight Papo and Kitan Club have one thing in common: it's best to catch them when they're still fresh. |

| I hadn't thought of 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32... We could consider these the primary scales. Which ones do you have, Christophe? Though the origin of 1/32 scale is 3/8 inch to one foot. You aren't far off with the giant Pacific octopus. I use the Kaiyodo swordtip squid as a Humboldt squid. I am not cheating (I would never do this ), but it was sold to me as a Humboldt squid (without base). I think it is acceptable as a Humboldt squid. |

| 3/8 inch to one foot Imperial system will stay an exotic and mysterious thing for me I have the 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 but no 1/16 (1/15 instead) and no 1/32 (1/30 and 1/35 instead) Humboldt squid ? it is a nice cheating |
