- Harriet, WOW! That is just absolutely lovely! That was indeed the Kaiyodo Snowy Owl that I was thinking of when you mentioned having ordered one. It really stands out. What a fantastic acquisition. I am so happy for you. And thank you so much for posting such a lovely photograph.
Congratulations!!
(also, I had no idea that these figures could be detached from their base. Am I right that they are sometimes called "bottlecap" figures? I have never seen one in person. Thank you again for sharing.)
Thank you Scott!! Yes I believe you're right, they are called bottle-cap figurines somtimes. I prefer them without the see-through base myself, one because it looks nicer and two it takes up less space on the shelf. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| those are all gorgeous figures; I love the doberman (and am looking forward to getting one myself); but I'm disturbed that one was missing a head. what the heck!?! (I'm sorry, I shouldn't dwell on the negative.)
They are such lovely models! I love the dogs especially, and I think those are possibly the best representations of dachshunds I've seen. Great acquisitions Harriet!

Yes I was a little disapointed but the seller was really nice and give me a refund. So I'll have fun making a head for the dog. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

I know, after I looked up some dobermans because I was interested in what colours they could have I saw the natural ears and thought "Darn! They look SO nice with uncropped ears." I can always redo it. Thanks Susanne _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*
