| I thought that if Collecta is going to listen to our suggestions about wildlife species they could make in future, then maybe we, the horselovers, could write also some suggestions about horse breeds we would like to get from them My suggestions: - new Haflinger - Fjord - Icelandic - Highland - Marwari ( pretty please?) - Black Forest (Schwarzwalder Fuchs) - Criollo *click* ( with mane clipped like that ) - Kladruber ( with prominent convex profile) - Cleveland Bay - Akhal-Teke - Tinker (Irish Cob / Gypsy Vanner) ( very hairy) - Shire or Clydesdale - Ardennes ( possibly with long mane and tail) - Exmoor - Norman Cob - Alter Real - Pura Raza Menorquina A lot, I know If only they made at least some of these. Personally I would be very happy if they were made by Deborah McDermott, her horses are just great :) _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| That's an excellent list there and I agree with all of your choices Magda! I just love exmoor ponies Suffolk Punch - they're beautiful, I think we need some more heavy horses _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Susanne, Mrs Eberl designed only a special model (El Santo NRW) for Bullyland, as far as I know she's not their new designer. Besides, personally I prefer Collecta to Bullyland in terms of realisation - I've seen some serious flaws in rubber El Santo which I didn't find in his resin version - deformed hoof, weird-looking "stumpy" head which doesn't really resemble the nicely shaped head of real Ernie And I don't like their other horses, they have too much flaws to point out _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

No sweat The eternal problem of understanding when not speaking directly to each other, - telephone talking is easier, talking face to face the best. And still people misunderstand each other... But never mind ! Isn`t it great how our plastic fiigueres can make us : people from all over the world, different ages and both sexes - have so much fun together |

| Some Spanish breeds:
Hispanobretón (I supose the name in English could be Spanish-Belgian or something like that) Asturcón Menorquín Mallorquín Jaca Navarra Spanish Sport Horse (Caballo de Deporte Español)
And now some "foreigner" breeds (foreigner for me!): Marwary! Don Furioso North Star Oldembourgh Hackney Brumby Waler Azteca Tarpán Sorraia _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

A Brumby would be lovely and a Tarpan! _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Wow, Roger, you found some very interesting horses. The Kathiawari with funny ears and head like old chinese horse, - that one would REALLY be a new one |

Thank you horsegirl! I'm glad you liked them, of course the ALter Real and Marchador were regional choices! The Gypsy Cob I chosed because I'm sure my niece would love it! The other two are pure Crocobert choices! |

| Kathiawari is very similar to Marwari (hah! I've mentioned it first ). In fact I still don't know what is the difference between those two except for the region of India they come from. Personally I have a feeling that Marwari is more popular - at least it's much easier to find information and good-quality photos of this breed. _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

Well, being similar is not a problem since many breeds are related and similar! Anyway don't worry because CollectA will not make any of them! How many are related to Arabians or PRE's??? Another thing important is that brands search tendences, we don't have necessarly to say different breeds! If everybody was saying Mangalarga and if CollectA was hearing us certainly they will think that Mangalargas were very wanted!!! |

Don't take my hope away Well, that'a just my dreamlist, so to speak. I'd be happy if Collecta made any of them, but I won't be broken-hearted if they won't. That's why we have customization! But I really wish they made some (whichever) draft breeds and ponies/small horses - variety is a good thing :) _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| I really hope they will continue partnership with Mrs McDermott, their horses are still gaining popularity, justly, I think - IMHO they are the best horse replicas in this scale and category :) EDIT: I wouldn't mind a Miniature horse too _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |
