| You know, this list looks very realistic. - SchleichSammler wrote:

peregrine Snowy owl stork Remember what we have discussed above? Schleich has told in their 2011 preview PDF that they're "going to approach the new developments in the World of Birds with a significant change in the body position... Giving them the opportunity of spreading their wings ready to fly will equip them with a much better play value and will make them more impressive." So, it really means that Schleich (finally!) is expanding their birds line-up. Moreover, taking into account the above mentioned expansion of the Polar World, there are big chances to see a polar bird in 2012. And snowy owl seems to be the best candidate from marketing point of view. - SchleichSammler wrote:

Gorillas are one of my favorite animals, but when it comes to figures - I NEED TREE-DWELLING MONKEYS...... :) _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| By the way, this thread is in our forum's Top-3 topics already with more than 8,000 views (and it's only October!). When searching for Schleich-2012 in google.com.ua, it's also #3. _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

The horses line is growing and growing, that is my problem. You can not go to a shop anymore that has all the different horses for sale. Or they will have little from each horse, so you can not choose which you like because there is no possible choice.
I will buy all the horses and hope that they are perfect, or Schleich 2010 will stay my favorite year. I agree with you, there a toystory here who doesn't buy the new horses because they have alot of older horses and they don't sell them enought... But I love to see alot of new horses! |

| I don't know what to think about this list. Good that they will make new elephants, although I think they wouldn't be much bigger I'm also quite curious about the skunk and new gorillas but these species are not really exciting. Good news is 4 toed hedgehog and boarded dragon I had a feeling that they may introduce snowy owl but this beautiful specie was made by so many brands and Safari Ltd made one which is really excellent About horses, I think Icelandic horses will be probably very nice! And trained horse too! I think it's shame they will discontinue all sets (dressage, eventing, jumping) I'm happy to see they will make new goat family but I would prefer new sheep family too. And for what they do so many new people figures I hope Schleich will made new forest animals for September, otherwise there will be not much to collect from Schleich this year (at least for me). But well, other brands may have nicer additions, so thanks to Schleich! And I can also buy some Schleich 2011 and 2010 which I couldn't buy earlier. Yes, after all, I think this 2012 list is good news |

| I am a tab impressed and a tab disappointed by the news about Schleich! New birds sound cool, but I already have the Safari gorgeous snowy owl and the old Schleich peregrine falcon and stork. The skunk...hm...I have a Safari one, but I will most likely buy this one too if it is as nice as the wolverine. The hedgehog and bearded dragon!!!!!!!!!!! Wohoooooo! New species for my collection! I also want to buy the baby eagle in nest. I don't have any wild bird nests! I won't buy any of the farm animals most likely and I will not be interested in the September Bayalas either, so thnak you Schleich for bearing my wallet and vitrines one more year! |

I think, no, i'm sure, that neither the gorilla, nor the hippo are Schleich. |

Same here! Actually, I haven't bought any of 2011 Schleich figures yet. Of course I will sooner or later, but their novelties don't ignite my collector's fever enough... _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| Almost a complete hour reading this topic to find a African pigmy hedgehog! The list is very poor! I like the idea of new bird series if they are not fantasied as the new eagle Let's see what happens, if the gorilla and elephants are better than the Papo, the skunk better than Mojo Fun, the peregrine better than CollectA and the Snowy owl better than Safari, not everything is lost. :) The stork I'll buy anyway, even the ugliest stork have some space in my roof. Fortunately the market now is full of nice brands and some of them are already showing some really nice species and figures! Does anyone knows what will Schleich launch in 2013? See you later! |
