sorry, i have to disagree with you. i'm thrilled they made a Neo, but i think it's gawdawful: it's up on stilts, its barrel is too shallow and narrow, head's waaaaaay too small, skull's too narrow, head's just all wrong... I wish i had been tempted by it.


i like the Mouflon a lot and wouldn't mind owning it, but i doubt i'll buy it, as it's not so over the top brilliant that i must break my rule for it when there are still so many regular sheep for me to buy..
i really like the Caribou too; pity about its antler "helmet." several of Papo's sheep have the same odd "pieced" construction.


I think the Oryx is the best; it's very very nice, but as i'm getting Harriet's, the Papo is not tempting.

Carolynn, in my eyes this is very young dog, not the World Winner, not with all typical features of Mastino but I like it anyway

The gemsbok/oryx is the crown of Papo's 2012 wildlife products.
Just hope the horns won't be too soft...

Finally someone thought to produce a mouflon!!!!! I a m very happy about that and this is my nr.1 purchase for next year. Very well impressed about the oryx (some antelopes at last!!)even though Harriet's is something else as fas as quality is involved...... reindeer baby croc and those wonderful dogs! Especially the mastino napoletano. Brachiosaurus and T rex very impressive I m gonna buy as well.

I think this year we have been too spoiled by Collecta and Mojo( thanks Heaven!!!!!!!!!) : I must say I'm satisfied by Papo products......only disappointed by Schleich : they could risk more being the more widespread mark in the world.

Ah ...was forgetting....I like also the various cows but not the zebroid and absolutely dislike papo horses.

This is not the new catalogue but a document with 2012 releases! :)

Another big and older brand that is dis-appointing me for the next year...
Harriets oryx is much better, and next to that, the Papo model seems toyish and cheap, but i guess, we all buy it, because of the lack of good antelopes, they can't be enough...
I love the dogs, specially the mastino Napolitano, this big guy looks great, and Papo is good in dogs most of the time. :)
The mouflon seems ok, the karibou to, although with some flaws.
The young panda's could be in Kung-Fu panda with those strange looking eyes...
The alligators are an original choice, which we can't say for the white lioness and thewhite crocodile...
So after all, with the dis-appointments in Papo and Schleich, good time to catch up on older models in 2012!

Hey forum friends, so I just woke up from a really bad nightmare. I dreamed that I had waited a whole year for my favorite new Papo wildlife series, and all they made were a caribou, bighorn sheep, oryx, wild boar(sow) and some other horrible creatures(Zebra/horse hybrid?, white repaints of a young lion & crocs, kung-fu baby pandas)...
But wait, Oh my gosh, I guess I wasn't dreaming...AAAAAGGHHHH !!!!!! HHHHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPP!
