When you have a look on your version, are there any scratches, and when yes is under the scratch red rubber ore brown rubber?

Your light version is darker than my light version! Yours is a medium one :)

It has dark brown rubber under the scratches. I tried to take a decent photo of the little scratches it has, but it was impossible... They were so blurry! They are very small to be well shown in a "normal" pic. So I can´t show you the scratches.

My darker mare is also red under the painting... Hum, maybe I have a strange foal! Do you know how many years was the foal avaliable before it get retired?

It was available from 95 and retired in 04 (´03 the last year it was made), so it was made for a considerable period of time.

This morning I got a huge box (box of the week, Robert ) from Germany. Almost 5 kg of plastic !!!!

It was a gamble. Shipping was almost half the price, so I did not expect there to be gold in it. At first I thought, - well, more junk for the kids to play in the sand with.

An old black boar from Schleich !
I have had the old ones for many years, and always thought they were brown, but checking in Gascher`s the old boar is black and the sow is brown.

Isn`t that what one dreams about if buying a bunch of mixed plastic-junk ???
To find some schleich you did not know existed.

Perhaps it is not news at all to you, but to me it is

Specially on darker figurines there are many variations in the colour of the material and painting, this was already so in the 1960's and 1970's, so much more to collect then we wish for...
