| I belive that there is already a topic about how to know one from the other, but I can't find it. Anyone who can help? Or can anyone tell me how to see the difference. I thought it was on the colour of the figurs (with 14036 a deeper green and the newer a more grey-green kind of colour), but when I look at toyanimal.info the 14036 consist of both colours. Can anyone help me differentiate my |

| I am afraid that there is some text missing on TAI, - entirely my fault As far as I know, the old one has white eyes and green belly, the newer one has brown eyes and grey belly Now it should be better [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ;D

| I was looking on Marktplaats and found this item. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]It is the old schleich brown bear, 14021 But in a very interesting colour. Has anyone of you seen this colour before on schleich? Or could it just be the lighting and setting in the picture? |

| Hmm, interesting It seems like most of the paint (eyes, nose) has disappeared, so maybe it had a rough life and most paint has been rubbed off? Although the painting on its nails seems intact. Could be discoloration because of sun. But it would be possible that it's a colour variation, of course! Now I'm curious if other members of STS have seen or maybe own this version! Thanks for sharing anyway! |

| I dont know. I have 3 variations already. Other pictures of other animals have the same beige light glow. So it can very well be from a lamp, or a photoshop correction |

| Too bad! It was the same colour plastic afterall. He just looks different because of the shade of paint, and the amount of rub. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here the brown and red version. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Red with and without paint. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All four. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I have noticed that the head from the bear i had is ever so less higher. You can hardly tell, only when you put the noses together. The new one has a wobble, because of his left front paw curved inward. and the material is a touch more flexibel. I think i will try to scrub the one of all his paint, and hope to see teh full light brown plastic. |

| Probably, one of my favourite topic. I love more made in China (Tunisia) Schleich models, than those ones that was produces in Germany (Portugal). IMHO, just the painting job looks more realistic for me. I will try to post some of my models as soon as posible, so you can see. |

| Thank you [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] for sharing this topic with me. Now back to the topic and let it freshen up a bit : Does anyone know more about the following animals are these common releases or are these factory erros? These animals have their undercoat shining through, has anyone else seen or got them back in the day they were available. I remember getting minr that way back in the late 2000s in small and big stores. Group picture of them all [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Airdale Terrier: Both are: Made in China Productnumber: 16336 Availability: 2005-2006 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Indian rhinoceros: Both are: Made in China Productnumber: 14183 Availability: 2001-2008 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Grizzly bear cub: Both are: Made in China Productnumber: 14324 Availability: 2004 - 2012 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Personal thoughts: I really like them all and they give these animals some sorts of character. Like the fur on the Airdale, I like to think he is an older senior with lots experience. _________________ "A real collector is not recognized by what he has, but by what he would be happy about." | I could be wrong, but I am uncertain that these are "variations" in paint color rather than toys thay have been played with in the bathtub and have residue from soap on them... _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
