Here are a couple of photos of some of the birds around my house. First is the Nuthatch, one of my favorites, and second is a Canadian Goose that has taken up in the field with my donkeys! :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]-Kristie

Thank you Karin! I love photography, but I am not a professional. I've done photos for a few friends as favors, but nothing on a big scale. :)

Kristie, if I didn't know already how good you're with a camera I would think that goose picture was a miracle.

Yes, we know what a great photographer you are, Kristie, - but these photos are exceptionelly fantastic ! I love nuthatches, too ! They are so much fun to watch. We call them "træløber" ( Woodrunners), and that is just what they do. The Eurasian nuthatch looks a bit different. I see them often when feeding wild birds during winter, - all the other birds are scared of them

Thank you friends! Those geese, well the practically live in the field, but it was still a lucky shot. I wish I'd had the shutter speed set even higher for more depth of field. But I guess that's being really picky. Susanne, the nuthatch is one of my favorite little birds. And the Tufted Titmouse. Do you have those?

| We have a lot of Great Tits in Poland, Blue Tits are a bit more rarely seen, at least where I live. I've seen a European Crested Tit only once in my life, about 15 years ago, I think. _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |
