PAPO hyena

I was really skeptic because she was looking like from Disney movie to me... But i have to say... i was wrong... she´s great!

Great find!I have seen all of the Papo releases,exept this one!Strange...
But it looks very nice!

I agree with you Martin

I don't know why many Papo animals are better in real life than on advertising pics

Hm, at all the photos I've seen this hyena looks exactly like from Disney movie... So you say it's much better in real life?

A figurine of a hyena will never be perfect. For us a hyena is what she does, the strange way it moves, and the sounds patetics that they made and not the dog look they have.
I have one and it's not perfect but is nice!

This is a 1:14 scale. It fits with the Papo cheetah and CollectA baboons

Just ordered 2 hyenas!

The lions, the zebras, everyone is in high alert!

I don't know exactly the species of the CollectA baboon, mayb it is chacma baboon?! This is the biggest of all and achieves 30" at shoulders. Spotted hyenas 36" and cheetahs 37". Those measures are for big ones. It's true, baboon are slightly big but only slightly! The female one is really to big!

I just don't understand why the hyena's face is so darn dark (and the legs too! )
Otherwise the sculpt is superb.

Well! Where is the baby baboon?
I agree that the male baboon is slightly large has I said. But the Homo sapiens is very small!
I think that in your pics the only 1:20 scale is the man.

About the hyena, when I bought it I've called it a dark faced hyena. It's too dark like the face of the lion in my avatard.
