The movie 'Lion King' depicted hyenas as evil - this is not true. Lions look "majestic," I agree, but both animals do the same thing: eat to survive and get rid of competition. I was only talking about figurines and I love figurines that look real. So I brought this video to the forum to show the diferent size of a hyena and a lion and the impressive Papo colorfull hyena and a real spotted one. I love lions, hyenas, etc. and figurines too! |

- I like the hyena, however it looks different than the prototype photo. The main reason is the paint job(finished product to orangy(in color)/spots need to be redone and overall body to glossy(needs to be more of a flat paint-like for example(pictured) the Papo lioness).
I haven't gotten around to it, but it just need to be repainted and I think it will be fine. I agree to the Papo-hyena is in the form of very good, but the painting does not look good. And the surface structure looks very smooth and shiny, unlike the big cats! This is very strange! It is time for a repainting maybe something like this as with my repainting of Jasmen hyena: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ...if then but later! BG |

| You're really a fantastic worker. But I cannot find your work in a shop. So it is the best way to show the brands how to do. Have you got a frontal view of the hyena? |

| Congratulations on your hyena in the first place! :) Papo is better in the big cats i think, but i would buy this model anyway... Its head is to big, in compare to the body, and the colouration is not like it is in real life, but hey, who cares for us as animal-lovers... |
