| Beautyful set , and I think that the price is not too silly, if you consider the price of each one separately + the box. Fortuntely times have (almost) changed. We still see the hunting sets from New-Ray and such, but I do not think they are popular in most of Europe.

| Wow, very impressive. I still have so many double Bullyland figures and other brands for sale. I must have missed this great price trend - I will adjust my prices. Many thanks Susanne, you have saved my next holiday trip! _________________ Yvette

| That is still quite pricey... I have made the jump in price for models but only when I decided that the model was irreplaceable for its rarity... i.e. my Papo white gorilla. Because at the end of the day... it is a piece of plastic. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Two not exactly incredible prices but still interresting I guess. Both Starlux A rare WWF in box sold for 208€ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A big batch with a lot of variation sold for 467€. The reasons why I say it isn't an incredible price ? There are one Scimitar oryx, two thylacines and two Echidnas in the pic [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| It's a high price, but I can see why such a box goes for a lot of money. The seller had another WWF Starlux box for sale too. I wanted to place a bid, mainly for the sable antelope, but the price quickly went too high. |

| That is a very pretty boxed set and what a very big and beautiful collection of nearly every figure?! Someone must have spent some time gathering all those beauties?
I can only see one thylacine but can't make out any echindnas. The photo is a bit blurry for me. Is there a link to the auction? |

No Sunny, it isn't a beautiful collection of nearly every figure, it is only a part of Starlux production with very interresting variations. Starlux had the biggest range of wild animal figurines in the world until Play Visions begins its production in the 1990's. You are right there is only one thylacine I circled in black the Thylacine, the two Echidnas, the Scimitar oryx and the Red hartebeest. I also circled in red a cheetah whose brand I don't know and that too is super rare. The auction is closed, Here is the link [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
